Brings people together in facilitated conversations dealing with just about anything. In a circle, participants commit to shared values and guidelines to guide their conversation, and share their perspectives one at a time to come to a greater understanding of one another and the topic at hand. ECRJC will facilitate circles in any context for participants to check in with one another, build relationships, educate one another, and/or work through conflict.

Animal Law Clinic: The Animal Law Clinic focuses on national, state, and local policy addressing animal welfare issues, such as puppy mills, feral and community cats, and former racehorses. Civil Rights and Transparency Clinic: A litigation clinic focused on civil rights and civil liberties, spanning constitutional liberties like free speech, privacy, due process, and statutory civil rights against discrimination. COVID Response Legal Clinic: Student attorneys serve unmet access-to-justice needs of the community, helping individual and families who are facing unexpected legal matters due to the coronavirus. e-Law Center Clinic: Works with diverse companies who are confronting a variety of business challenges specific to startups and early stage high-growth ventures. Environmental Advocacy Clinic: Focuses on state, national, and international environmental policy issues that have a direct impact on Western New York, as well as national and international implications. Family Violence and Women's Rights Law: Focuses on attaining justice and safety for victims of intimate partner violence. Mediation Clinic: Working on cases referred by local courts or other mediation agencies, students help resolve disputes in family law, small claims, and the community. Puerto Rico Recovery Assistance Legal Clinic: Provides practical legal research and thoughtful pro bono service through an ongoing collaborative effort to empower a resilient Puerto Rico.

Provides peer mediation to help train and equip youth to approach conflict resolution peacefully through skills such as active listening. Offers mediation services for youth that may include but is not limited to student/teacher conflicts, conflicts between students or with their parents, special education issues, and issues that may involve absenteeism or attendance with school.

Collaborative Practice is a process that helps couples settle their divorce, separation, and/or parenting matters with the help of lawyers, but without going to court. Collaborative Practice can also be used to resolve other legal matters, such as estate disputes, small business formation and dissolution, and employment issues.The No Cost Collaborative Program matches eligible clients with collaborative attorneys who will work with them in the collaborative process at no cost to the client.To determine whether you are eligible to work with a free collaborative attorney through the No Cost Collaborative Program, contact LAWNY at 607-273-3667 for help with collaborative divorce, separation, support and/or parenting issues.
