New Justice Services, Inc. offers mediation as a free service for individuals involved in a dispute to reach a mutually satisfying agreement. It does not fix blame and takes less time than court proceedings. The Housing Resource Center provides services for Yonkers residents, that educate tenants, prevent eviction, end homelessness, and improve living conditions for singles and families. For over 20 years, we have been assisting households with a wide range of services, including: professional guidance to prevent evictions, code enforcement for improved housing conditions, emergency assistance for displaced families, tenant education and training short-term financial assistance with intensive case management for qualifying households.

ADAPT focuses upon teen/parent mediation with families who are experiencing some form of conflict, such as truancy, school suspensions, out of control behaviors, which they feel powerless to resolve. Our trained mediators assist the families by facilitating the mediation and ensuring a safe space where they are able to accomplish the program goals and objectives.

NCCRS is a program of the Rural Law Center of New York, Inc. The organization is staffed by mediation professionals and certified community volunteers, and is part of the statewide Community mediation Centers Program administered by the New York State Unified Court System.
