Provides three residential treatment facilities exclusively for veterans struggling with chemical dependency, post-traumatic stress disorder and other life challenges. They are located in Manhattan, Richmond Hill, Queens, and Ellenville NY. The Ellenville facility is dedicated to female veterans and offers gender-specific treatment at a safe and encouraging environment for women veterans. Also operates the Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) which provides community-based housing assistance and support services for at-risk veterans and their families. These services include temporary financial assistance, housing counseling, legal service referrals, daily living services, personal financial planning and transportation services.

Offers trauma-informed, integrated treatments for substance use disorders and related behavioral health challenges for veterans in an outpatient setting. Specific services offered include: individual and group therapies, focused recovery groups (including DWI, Relapse Prevention, Power and Control), specialized military wellness and resilience services (including Mindfulness, Yoga, Acupuncture, Spiritual Counseling, and Identify Workshops), inter-generational peer support and community reintegration, trauma-focused therapies, family-focused interventions, and experiential modalities (including art therapy, expressive techniques, trauma-informed drama therapy, and others). Certified by New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (NYSOASAS).

A 17-bed residential treatment program for men recovering from alcoholism, and provides comprehensive services with the goal of helping residents return to a sober and productive life in three to nine months.

Transitional residential services located in a more independent community-based apartment setting with case management, vocational and clinical supports and services.

Offers addiction treatment centers, throughout several locations in the state. Services include residential alcohol and drug addiction services, along with other difficulties associated with alcohol or chemical dependency.

Offers a nurturing and healthy living environment for individuals to recover from alcohol and substance abuse providing the opportunity for those in recovery to return to day-to-day living, while maintaining a connection to treatment. Women and children supportive apartments are also available, allowing mothers to live with their children during the recovery process.

Offers inpatient substance rehabilitation services to veterans.

Provides spiritual, social and emotional assistance for men and women who have lost the ability to cope with their problems and provide for themselves. Each center offers residential housing, work, and group and individual therapy. The physical and spiritual care that program participants receive prepares them to re-enter society and return to gainful employment and resume a normal life.

Provides a home-like atmosphere for men in the early stages of recovery from alcohol/drug dependence.

Provides an alcohol and drug abuse rehabilitation program, a 28 day inpatient treatment program, job training, and clean and sober housing. There is a waiting list for this service.

A 20-bed program providing stabilization services in a residential setting to men and women over 18, targeting individuals in need of medically supervised detoxification services; individuals experiencing mild withdrawal or significant urges for illicit substances that cannot be managed in an outpatient setting; and/or individuals who need residential care.

* Provides residential rehabilitation program that offers: Work therapy. Counseling. Group therapy. Addiction education. Bible study. Spiritual education. GED classes. Vocational education and recreational activities.

* Administers residential support for 24 men who need stable housing while attending outpatient drug treatment.

Provides separate adult, adolescent and family treatment facilities with specialized recovery programs on inpatient basis. Uses AA principles, includes individual and family treatment, provided on voluntary basis; networks AA contact, outpatient services, and halfway house placement for clients from outlying areas.

Provides support and services to individuals and families affected by substance abuse. These include adolescent day programs, residential services (18+), medical services, vocational educational services and support groups. Licensed by the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (NYS OASAS).

A 25-bed residential treatment facility located on the Horizon Village campus that provides specialized behavioral treatment services for women with addiction disorders ages 18 and older. Clinicians are trained in EMDR to address PTSD symptoms. Provides medication assisted treatment, including Suboxone, Sublocade, and Vivitrol. ##REENTRY##

DYC’s Fresh Start program is certified by the New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS). Fresh Start is an outpatient program for adolescents aged 12 – 17, and includes group, individual, and family counseling as well as educational services.

A 18 month residential program that helps men and women with chemical addictions, dependencies and other difficulties. Religious instruction is incorporated into the programming offered.

Offers a holistic rehabilitative environment for young men ages 16 to 20 years with a substance abuse diagnosis; offers Equine Assisted Therapy.
