A thrift store which also provides comprehensive job skills training opportunities, employment support services, and educational opportunities for residents for Orleans and Genesee Counties. Thrift store accepts donations of good condition household items, furniture, books, DVDs, CDs, collectibles, current educational materials, craft and hobby items, musical instruments, antiques, small and large appliances, and workplace apparel. Pick up available for donations of large household items and furniture. Employment services include resume and job search assistance, job skills training, and on-the-job work experience. Also offers free access to computers and internet for job searching activities. Educational services include high school equivalency preparation credit recovery. Also provides budgeting assistance, income/expense scheduling, and fax and copy services. Also provides discreet, dignified access to laundry facilities, hygiene products, and life skills support for students in need.

Offers holiday food baskets for Thanksgiving and December holiday gift distribution for low-income families. Also accepts donations of holiday foods and new gift or toys for children under 18 years. . They will need to become registered clients in order to access the program. Distribution for toys occurs concurrently with Thanksgiving Program, November 25th and November 26th.

Harvest House Baby & Children's Ministry

Provides new and gently used baby and children's clothing (newborn to children's size 14), and when available, provides strollers, car seats, pop-up cribs, highchairs, educational toys, and books; these are not always available, since supplies are entirely dependent on donations. Does not provide diapers, formula, financial assistance, or furniture other than what is already specified above. Expectant parents may be served when they are within 60 days of their due date. Clients may be served twice per year: once in spring/summer and once in fall/winter.
