Advocates for quality, affordable and accessible child care in legislation and public policy for children and families. The Council collaborates and works with other child care organizations and community groups, schools, etc. to educate about and support high-quality child care.Child Care Council of Nassau outreaches to families via numerous organizations and agencies in the community through a variety of venues, including those that serve the Hispanic population (agency events, community fairs, libraries, churches, etc.). Families learn of various workshops, seminars, and webinars related to parenting in the community through email alerts from Council.Council actively participates with other child care and early education agencies in statewide efforts to create a cohesive and comprehensive agenda in Nassau County and Albany, and for clarification, support, and dissemination of statewide information.

MOTC of Suffolk County is a support group for mothers of multiples and expectant mothers of multiples. Services include clothing and equipment exchange, workshops for specific areas of interest and a library. Also hold seasonal parties and outings for moms, children and other family members.
