Provides frozen meals available via pickup from participating senior center locations throughout Erie County. Seniors can choose between a 3, 5, 6, 8 or 10 meal pack that can be picked up once a week from participating locations. A roll, milk, and dessert are included with each meal.

A nonprofit law firm that provides free legal aid, including legal representation, advocacy, and other services, to low-income people in 14 counties of Western New York. Provides help with problems such as housing/homelessness, evictions, foreclosure, domestic violence, unemployment insurance denials, re-entry, Supplemental Security Income (SSI) denials, and other legal problems. Provides a 24-hour crisis intervention hotline, 24-hour advocacy, group counseling, transportation, court accompaniment and preparation, and compensation claim form assistance through NYS Office of Victim Services. Office is at a secure location, which is shared with clients at the time of intake.

Prepares the Cattaraugus County Health Department and county residents to effectively respond to a public health emergency. Works to provide education and awareness programs to help residents and healthcare professionals become well informed on public health issues and threats and how to respond to such situations.

Provides a welcoming environment for parents and other other caregivers of teenagers with autism spectrum disorders to meet, share experiences, ask questions, and receive support. All are welcome to attend, but the group is geared towards parents of teenagers who may be transitioning to higher education, employment, and/or independent living. A group for Teens with Asperger's will be available at the same time; please call for information and registration. Group meets in the rear conference room of Wegman's on 601 Amherst Street, Buffalo, NY 14207. Please contact if participation is limited by lack of transportation or other barriers.

An evaluation and referral service offering an alternative to incarceration. Individuals may be referred by adolescent diversion court, DWI court, drug court, mental health court, domestic violence court, opioid court, veteran court, or criminal court. ##REENTRY##

Offers breastfeeding support to African-American women in the City of Buffalo. Participants in the program are given personalized peer-to-peer support, starting during pregnancy and continuing through the first 12 months after birth. Also offers a support group.

Targeted outreach, assistance, and facilitated enrollment for adults who may qualify for SNAP. Also available to assist in the recertification process for SNAP.

Programs offered include licensed after school and recess camp programs, adult/youth tennis (year round), swimming lessons, water aerobics (year round), lap swim (year round), after-school gym programs, toddler programs, Badminton (year round), adult floor hockey, basketball, volleyball, dodgeball, youth basketball lessons, open basketball, and floor hockey. Playground and playmobile (mobile playground). Concerts in the parks and various special events available during the year. Also provides programs for individuals with disabilities. For adults, offers social programs, crafts (year round), and Special Olympic training in basketball, track, and swimming. For youth, offers Special Olympic training, swimming, basketball, track, and social programs. Services available for dropouts/early school intervention/first offenders. Works to unite community resources for the aid of disadvantaged/problem youth. Offers drug abuse prevention services.

Provides emergency repairs to homes owned and lived in by senior low-income households.

Provides a supportive environment for breastfeeding mothers and their babies, along with free breast feeding support, resources, and one-on-one assistance from an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). Weekly drop-in support is available for both pregnant and breastfeeding moms through the Baby Cafe, which offers education, networking, and time for moms to share their breastfeeding experiences. Infant feeding class available several times a year at no cost.

Provides medical care, education, counseling, and support for children and adolescents with sickle cell disease, thalassemia and other hemoglobin disorders. Exists within the Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, which is part of the Department of Pediatrics and is affiliated with the SUNY at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.

Provides emergency food pantry, referrals, advocacy, and intake assessment. ##REENTRY##
