Provide "train the trainer" services to help social workers, case managers, aides and other professionals (1) to understand Migratory Mourning psychodynamics, stemming from feelings of loss and separation arising from living in a new country, and (2) to facilitate the process of bereavement so immigrant clients can fully contribute to the betterment of their lives, those of their families and the broader community.

Provides information regarding property taxes. Helps individuals determine if they may be eligible for a tax exemption program and processes applications. Accepts property tax payments.

Provides education to the community on alcohol and drug impaired driving. Administers andCoordinates countywide impaired driving grant project, Coordinated Checkpoints and enforcement campaign. Educational and Informational materials are also available for schools, clubs and civic organizations.

Provides referrals to attorneys based on law practice specialty.

Represents taxpayers by protecting rights and resolving problems that cannot be fixed through normal channels.

Provides crisis intervention answering services for individuals who abuse alcohol or are at risk of abuse with the aim of defusing the immediate crisis, ensuring the person's safety, and providing information about alternatives the person may explore to begin recovering. Home intervention may be available depending on the circumstances.

Reaches out to the poor and vulnerable. Serves the homeless, the hungry and the physically, mentally and emotionally challenged. A comprehensive range of professional human services are also offered to youth, neglected children, the elderly and immigrants.

Provides Case management services to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking and trafficking. Services include assisting clients with Social Service applications, housing, employment, medical needs, immigration matters, etc. Services available in our Riverhead, East Hampton and Southampton offices. Provides intensive family focused intervention for families with youth at risk of formal Person In Need of Supervision (PINS) action or placement outside of the home.

Provides a food pantry for individuals in need, which can be accessed once a month. Will not turn people away in cases of emergency.

Provides mental health readjustment counseling to veterans who served in combat zones.

Provides one stop access to comprehensive information and assistance on long term services and supports for people of all ages or with any type of disability. Services include public education, Long-Term Care Council, and options counseling/person-centered counseling.
