Provides one-on-one reading and ESL instruction to adults. Instruction provided by volunteer tutors who have been trained at a literacy volunteer tutor workshop. Instruction is provided in public location 2 hours/week at a time convenient to student and tutor.

Works to provide the education, support, and care needed by families (especially those in Black and Brown communities) to have a healthy start for their babies. Once enrolled, clients have access to care through home visits from community health workers (CHWs) and registered nurses, who will work with a client's chosen obstetrics provider or help connect them with one. Nurses visit clients throughout their pregnancy to deliver care and answer questions whenever needed. Community health workers support areas of life that affect clients' health, like housing, food, transportation, baby supplies, and preparation for the baby's arrival. Provides both one-on-one and group educational support so that clients know what to expect at every stage of their parenthood journey. Partners with healthcare providers, doulas, and community organizations to improve outcomes for pregnant persons and their families.

Helps with clothing (sizes preemie through 4T), blankets, bibs, bottles, diapers, wipes, and basic infant care necessities. Delivery of items available.

Provides an array of services to employers, from organizing annual job fairs and informational expos to recruitment assistance. Other services include creating/listing job postings, pre-employment testing, referrals of qualified candidates, pre-screening for specific skills and qualifications, screening for available training subsidies and/or tax credits, and the possible training and upgrading of existing employees.

Provides subsidized independent living apartments for persons age 62 and older or physically disabled, able to live independently (aide services are not provided). This 13-story high-rise consists of 250 one-bedroom units. Resident services include a transportation program for medical appointments and weekly grocery shopping; a mini-grocery store in the building; an exercise program; and on-site security. Also acts as a host site for the Niagara Nutrition Program, which is open to the public.

A comprehensive school readiness program preparing 3-5 year old children for kindergarten by offering comprehensive services including case management and utilizing a multi-disciplinary team approach. The staff links families with community services that can assist them with obtaining their goals.

Administers Temporary Assistance including Family Assistance, Safety Net Assistance, SNAP, and childcare assistance. An application for Temporary Assistance is an automatic application for Medical Assistance and SNAP benefits. May be able to assist with rent and mortgage payments, depending on the circumstances. Provides once-only or alternative assistance to applicants, who are low-income and without sufficient resources, in the form of diversion services. May include transportation and work related expense assistance.

A fellowship of individuals who, through shared experience and mutual support, are recovering from the disease of food addiction. Program is based on the 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous. No dues, fees, or weigh-ins at FA meetings.

Dining Room: Offers a hot and nutritious meal. Food Pantry: A client choice food pantry, sensitive to the needs of the community. Makes an effort to provide a wide range of healthy and nutritious food. Thanksgiving and Christmas meals served; see Schedule below for details. ##REENTRY##

School based afternoon program. Provides homework assistance, arts and crafts, science, music, physical activities, and an afternoon snack.

Meets the emergency needs of infants and very young children by providing them with a supply of diapers, infant formula, baby food, and baby care products. Limited quantities available.

A comprehensive child development Early Head Start program designed to serve income eligible children 0-5 years of age including children with disabilities and their families. Provides early, continuous, intensive, and comprehensive child development and family support services to low-income infants and toddlers and their families, and pregnant women and their families. Provides early learning, care, and enrichment experiences to children in an early care and education setting. Staff members also visit family homes at least twice per year.

Works to educate, empower, and to promote equality of all people with disabilities in Niagara County. Provides peer supports, information and referral, advocacy, transition supports, and peer services to people with any functional limitations. Has many programs and resources to assist constituents, including Deaf Services, Medicaid Application Assistance Program, Independent Living Skills training, Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Services (CDPAS), and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and benefit/entitlement services for individuals with disabilities. Also offers a medical loan closet. Addict 2 Addict (A2A): A peer-led team serving people with substance use disorders and their families and loved ones. Peers (in sustained recovery themselves and/or having loved ones with a substance use disorder) share their recovery experience and help those with substance use disorders navigate the many avenues to take by offering information, advocacy, and Peer Counseling to help them reach their first steps on the path to recovery. The team is available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week and will respond to a call at 716-498-4333 within 24 hours.

Provides non-residential services to victims of Domestic Violence. Services include safety planning, basic counseling, case management, hospital accompaniment, domestic violence awareness/education, temporary assistance waivers/housing assistance, transportation, and referrals for immigrant/immigration services, safe dwelling/shelter, legal assistance, and other relevant supportive services. Also provides court advocacy including help with preparation and filing of Family Court documents such as orders of protection and custody, and will accompany victims to court upon request. All services continue to be available after hours via the Orleans County Sheriff's Dispatch.

Comprehensive job center where both job seekers and employers can access a wide variety of free employment and training-related services under one roof. Helps job seekers with planning their careers through recommendations as to which resources might be most helpful for specific situations. Provides specialized employment programming for veterans, young adults ages 16 and older, and individuals who are justice impacted and in re-entry situations. ##Veteran## ##REENTRY##

Provides physician referrals as well as health and wellness screenings. Also offers community wellness programs related to bariatrics, cardiac/vascular care, diabetes care, orthopedics, physical therapy, and women's health services.

A single location where customers can access the services provided by the Farm Service Agency, Natural Resources Conservation Service, and the Conservation District. Farm Service Agency administers federal farm programs and farm loan programs.
