NY Connects provides unbiased specialized information and referral regarding long term care issues and services for older adults.

• Offers prearranged group and individual transportation. For ambulatory patients physically or financially unable to use other means of transportation to clinics, doctors' offices or treatment centers. * Offers special chairmobile services. For persons who use wheelchairs for medical, social, recreational or personal reasons. * Provides transportation to the following: Nutritional sites. Foster care children. Cancer patients. Developmentally disabled adults to day treatment programs. Patients undergoing radiation treatment at area oncology departments. Dialysis services. Area social service agencies for program-related activities. * Provides rides for early voting.

• Provides information, referrals and support to mental health organizations and individuals within the community in regards to mental health issues, developmental disabilities and substance abuse services.

• Provides an information line and a website with resources for people who self-injure, in addition to local treatment in St. Louis, Missouri.

• Offers afterschool activities for grades 7-12 including: Sports, enrichment activities, eSports, and leadership programs. Serves hot meals every day.

• Provides a range of services including adoption support and adoption information and referrals.

Supplies 50 diapers per child per month, or 30 pull-ups per child per month to families under the 200% poverty level.

• Investigates and follows up on complaints about cruelty to animals.

• Provides a volunteer program designed to give adult role modeling to needy children as well as for adults who are isolated as a result of mental illness and in need of friendship. All volunteers undergo extensive background check and training.
