Specially trained and/or professional volunteers may also provide bereavement support, music, massage, or pet visits.Training & commitment: Patient Support volunteers complete a required 20-hour training, commit to 2-4 hours per week for at least one year, and participate in ongoing education and support meetings.Hospicare AmbassadorsAmbassadors partner with Hospicare staff to increase awareness in Tompkins and Cortland counties. If you enjoy connecting with people, this role is a great fit.
