Specially trained and/or professional volunteers may also provide bereavement support, music, massage, or pet visits.Training & commitment: Patient Support volunteers complete a required 20-hour training, commit to 2-4 hours per week for at least one year, and participate in ongoing education and support meetings.Hospicare AmbassadorsAmbassadors partner with Hospicare staff to increase awareness in Tompkins and Cortland counties.
