Day program for older adults and adults with developmental disabilities. Provides socialization, community involvement, nutritional program, transportation, recreation, and case management. Helps older adults and adults with developmental disabilities remain at home and gives caregivers time away from caregiving to help them do whatever they need to do, whether that be running errands, attending appointments, or going to work. Respite services are also offered at this location; services can be provided for as little as one hour to a full day.

Provides clothing, small appliances, and household wares. There is a men's room, a women's room, a children's room, and a baby's room. Anyone can walk in and shop for the clothes they like. People can take one bag of clothes per day. ##REENTRY##

A safe, child-friendly center that supports a multi-disciplinary investigative approach to child physical and sexual abuse allegations. Provides a child-friendly environment where child abuse victims can safely talk, coordination of agencies conducting investigations, medical evaluations, victim advocacy, mental health services, and information and referrals.

Focuses on creating asset development opportunities for both residents and entrepreneurs. Assists individuals in growing and investing in their communities by providing lending capital, training, consulting, technical assistance, seminars, workshops, and low-cost business rental space to new and existing businesses that would otherwise lack access to these services. Assists area residents in developing asset based thinking by providing financial literacy training, basic budgeting, and home appliance loans to combat predatory lenders. Loan programs and Cottage Industry Assistance Program target low to moderate income existing and prospective individuals. Chautauqua Microenterprise Loan Fund and the Women and Minority Microenterprise Loan Fund Programs help small businesses by providing small business start up and expansion loans. The small business incubator offers small businesses an opportunity to grow and stabilize with subsidies around rent, business services, and technical assistance. Program site serves as a Warming Center during times of excessive cold and as a Cooling Center during times of excessive heat. Always call ahead to make sure a Warming/Cooling Center is open before going there.

Provides local personal emergency response system (PERS).

A Non-Certified Office of Mental Health Program that secures permanent housing for populations including the mentally ill and mentally ill/chemically addicted (MICA). Staff provides resources for consumers with limited incomes to successfully find housing that meets their needs. Offers individuals a safe and affordable apartment, furniture, linkage to necessary community supports, and advocacy. Staff collaborates with consumers to procure, establish, and maintain households that meet each person's specific needs. Services include contacting landlords, arranging lease agreements, obtaining essential household items, rental assistance, and assistance in identifying service gaps.

Offers real-time one-on-one support 24/7 from trained peer advocates via phone, text, and online chat services at www.loveisrespect.org. Peer advocates are trained to offer support, information, and advocacy to those involved in unhealthy or abusive dating relationships as well as concerned parents, teachers, clergy, law enforcement, and service providers. For support via texting, text "LOVEIS" to 22522.

Program works to explicitly teach emergent literacy skills in order to prevent or diminish reading challenges before they begin. Emergent literacy skills include speaking, reading, writing, and viewing during the early childhood years. This is a multi-sensory program that targets auditory processing skills, expressive and receptive language skills, phonological awareness, print knowledge, academic concepts, fine motor, and sensory skills.

Offers a variety of support groups for those with active alcohol and substance use, those in recovery, and family and friends affected by a loved one's alcohol or substance use. HARM REDUCTION - A peer-led support group for individuals who are looking for harm reduction services. Mondays 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM. RECOVERY NOW - A peer-led support group for early risers that also provides assistance with drug court. Tuesdays from 8:15am-9:15am. LIVING WELL - A seven week life-skills group facilitated by local volunteers from Lockport CARES. Wednesdays from 9:30am-11:30am. SERENITY CIRCLE - A peer-led discussion group facilitated by two recovery coaches. Wednesdays from 12noon-1pm. EPIC Parenting Class - A 10-week, evidence-based parenting class run by EPIC employees. A court-approved certification is awarded at the completion of the 10 classes. Must pre-register to attend. Wednesdays from 12:30pm-1:30pm. HEALING TOGETHER - A support group for families and loved ones of people in recovery or currently using substances. Thursdays from 5:30pm-6:30pm. AA - OPEN mutual support groups led by members of the community. Wednesdays from 6-7pm and Thursdays from 7pm-8pm. NA - OPEN mutual support groups led by members of the community. Thursdays from 10 am-11am & Saturdays from 11am-12noon. WOMEN'S GROUP - An education and discussion recovery group for women in the community led by a Save The Michaels recovery coach and case manager. Fridays from 12noon-1pm. NARCAN TRAINING - An education session that focuses on understanding how to recognize and respond to an opioid overdose, led by NYS approved trainers. Certification given upon completion. A decision-making committee to determine eligibility and the appropriate level of special education services for preschool children aged 3-5. The CPSE is a multidisciplinary team established to conduct meetings to develop, review, or revise the Individual Education Program (IEP) of a preschool student with a disability. The parent or legal guardian is included as a member of the committee.

Administers Medicaid program to assist eligible individuals in our community in obtaining necessary and appropriate medical care through programs such as Medicaid, Medicaid Social Security Income (SSI), Child Health Plus, Personal Care Supports including nursing and personal care aids, managed care insurance, and long-term care supports, among others. Child/Teen Health Program is a preventive health program which provides continuing medical care to your children. Also provides for burial when a Temporary Assistance recipient or other indigent person dies leaving no funds or insurance sufficient to pay the cost and there are no relatives, friends or other persons liable or willing to take responsibility for the burial expense.
