For active adults over the age of 50 who are looking to stay healthy and fit. Focus on functional strength training, balance and mobility. Focus also on hip strength and core stability, as well as some overhead shoulder work. Recreational senior athletes are great candidates for this class. Those doing pickleball, tennis, curling, shuffleboard, and other sports are encouraged to join. Participants must be able to get up and down easily off the floor, as there will be exercises done on the floor.

Seeks to safeguard patients through mediation assuring access to care, maintenance of employment and preservation of financial stability. Provides legal consultation and referral services for patients facing denial of insurance coverage, employment discrimination and need for negotiating support with public assistance programs. In situations of health crisis, care workers offer free help in resolving issues. Website offers online request-for-help capability and has a directory of prescription drug patient assistance programs that offer medicines free of charge to physicians whose patients might not otherwise have access to necessary medicine.

Provides hotlines to provide resources to combat synthetic and prescription drug problems.

Provides nutrition education to the public, specifically those with lower income who may be eligible for, or enrolled in SNAP (food stamps). Participants receive hands-on learning on how to prepare quick and easy meals, how to prepare food safely and keep it safe to eat, how to read food labels and understand the dietary guidelines, and how to stretch food dollars.

Investigates all reported allegations of fraud in the Temporary Assistance, SNAP, Medicaid, HEAP, and Day Care programs. Also investigates day care providers being paid by Social Services who do not really provide care and cases involving food stamp trafficking. Does not investigate Social Security, Disability, Workman's Comp, Unemployment, or Section 8.

Provides maternity support services by seeing to the physical, social and emotional health of young, single women facing motherhood without adequate resources. Offers housing and supportive services for up to 10 pregnant and/or parenting young women and their children. Emphasis is placed on preparing the girls for the challenges of working and parenting.

An empowerment initiative where teenagers work to spread the word to discourage their peers from smoking, through events, concerts, and fun activities which they plan and implement.

Arranges for placement of children homes who are legally free for adoption and are in the guardianship of the Commissioner of Social Services in appropriate adoptive homes. Makes decisions on school curriculum, decisions regarding discipline, school closures and other educational issues which affect the teachers and students. Parents/guardians wanting to gain information about these matters can call the administration office.

Provides free exercise classes for cancer patients utilizing resistance bands, stability balls and floor work. All exercises can be modified to your range of motion, ability, and recovery process. Meets in Conference room A.

Institutionalized residential treatment for socially and emotionally handicapped boys ages 12-17 and high-school age girls. On-campus school, recreation and work-experience program. Professional social workers and psychologists provide regular treatment through individual counseling and therapeutic groups.Current capacity is 189 beds: 68 "critical care" beds in the boys' hard-to-place program 24 "critical care" beds in the girls' hard-to-place program 12 beds for sex offenders 27 beds for youth dually diagnosed with intellectual disability and emotional disturbance 24 beds in intermediate care-for boys who have been successful in Critical Care or the offender treatment program and for whom the focus can be changed to transitioning out of residential care 18 (9 boys, 9 girls) beds in intensive residential substance abuse program 16 (boys) "Raise the Age" program for older boys who would formerly have been treated as adults

Offer food baskets for Thanksgiving and Christmas for low-income families and individuals. Also accepts donations of new toys and holiday foods.
