Legal problems handled involve basic needs such as housing, health care, food and income. Focus is on entitlement programs such as public assistance, Medicaid, food stamps and SSI as well as on housing problems involving evictions, foreclosure and poor housing conditions. Specialized units include Mental Health Law Project, SSI/Disability Advocacy Project, Domestic Violence Project, Pro-Bono Project, HIV Advocacy, disability discrimination, adult home advocacy, veterans. senior citizens, and homecare advocacy.

Maintains all town roads including paving & repair, snow removal, street sweeping, and signage in the Village of Clinton. Picks up residential brush & leaves and provides waste management information for Village of Clinton residents. Responsible for developing, maintaining, and operating the system of aqueducts, reservoirs, channels, pipelines, mains, laterals, curb boxes, and pumping and purifying equipment by which the community's water supply is obtained, treated, stored, and distributed to consumers in the Village of Clinton.

Provides building code information as well as ensures local building codes are enforced including taking and investigating reports of violations. Issues building permits.

A free drop-in center for all community teens, ages 13 and up. Play pool, listen to music, use the computer lab., play games, or just hang out with your friends. Two youth advisors, one computer coach, and one security guard are on site and available for help or supervision as needed. Free pizza and wings on Thursdays.

Openings exist for technically-oriented specialists as sales representatives, managers, supervisors, and production managers in turf, nursery, parks, florists, landscaping, and closely related fields. Course offerings include: Botany; Soils: The Foundation of Life; Herbaceous Plants I; Horticulture II Growth and Development of Cultivated Plants; Horticulture I; Woody Plants I & II and Indoor Plants. Hears cases involving vandalism, disorderly conduct, public intoxication, traffic violations, and other defenses that happen within the village or town. Accepts payments for restitution or fines ordered through the court.
