Offers an array of athletic and recreational programs for children from economically challenged areas and children with special needs. The flagship program is offered on Sunday mornings between 10am and noon during the traditional school year in 6-week sessions (Fall, Winter Spring) at Purchase College. It has also been adapted for inclusion in half a dozen onsite after school programs in the area.

The information resource center provides various formats to educate anyone on Hodgkin's Disease, Leukemia, Lymphomas, and Myelomas, including find medical or support resources or services in the community.

Offers programs to encourage reading through fun and creative activities, such as reading clubs, story hour, arts and crafts, movies and more, including programs for children with special needs.

Offers a 12 credit certificate program that is designed to prepare practitioners to plan, implement, and evaluate education and training programs in a variety of institutional settings. Sample course offerings include: Introduction to Human Communication; Principles of Training and Staff Development; Training and Development Techniques and Practicum in Training and Development. An outpatient treatment center offering: assessments, psychiatric evaluations, medication management and ancillary withdrawal (suboxone induction & maintenance) along with outpatient individual and group treatment services for adults, young adults/adolescents and significant others/family members. Specialized programs include but are not limited to: women, co-occurring disorders, DWI's, criminal justice population, domestic violence and young adults/adolescents.

Provides the courts to handle criminal, civil, small claims and traffic issues in the local community.

Spanish speaking people adolescents (12 and older); adults that need counseling, information or other services in Spanish.

Provides the rehabilitation and support for individual recovering from illness, injury or elective surgery. Services include physical and occupational therapy, disease/disability specific rehabilitation and sports-related medical care.

Serves as a major teaching facility for the college's theater courses and is a training ground for young actors. Year-round, the stage is host for the production of children's theatre, storytelling, theatre for the deaf and an intimate forum for local playwrights and poets. The Playhouse is the site of community theater productions of musicals, dramas, comedies, cabaret acts, musical performances, dance troupes and comedians. Provides a community based Senior Citizen Center. Offers socialization, recreation and support services.

Is offered to students in 7th through 12th grades in selected school districts. STEP is designed to motivate and prepare financially disadvantaged and underrepresented minority students for careers in science, technology and mathematics-related disciplines, along with licensed professions such as nursing and accountancy. Academic activities that encourage critical thinking, along with intensive instruction in mathematics, science and computer science, are teamed with support services such as counseling and tutoring. This provides a nurturing environment which builds self-esteem as it prepares minority and disadvantaged students for entry into STEM and licensed professions. Services include 16 enrichments sessions in: Science and science research (biology, Genomics/microbiology, physics, earth science, engineering, robotics, nursing/allied health); Math; Communication skills; Leadership; Computer applications; Career awareness; Research program; School-based "club" meetings and Parents' Advocacy Group. The Program Eligibility: Students accepted into the program must meet the guidelines of NYSED, and will include those who have been identified as underrepresented minorities (African-American, Latino, Hispanic-American and Native-American) and/or financially disadvantaged students in grades 7-12. Provides Home Health Aides, Personal Care Aides, Homemakers/Companions, RN's and LPN to the ill, aged and infirm in the privacy and comfort of their home. Services are provided by the hour, day or live-in basis.

The National Maternal Mental Health Hotline, a free, 24/7 hotline providing mental health support, resources and information to anyone pregnant, postpartum, and their loved ones. The Hotline is funded by the federal Health Resources and Services Administration.

Offers an opportunity for the community to raise chickens and share the harvest. Participants will attend workshops about various topics on raising chickens, and are responsible for visiting the chicks, feeding, watering, cleaning, coop moving, and gathering the eggs.

Provides testing and treatment for sexually transmitted diseases. All services are confidential and parental consent is not required for adolescents.

Provides case management for individuals with severe mental illness, helping to coordinate their medical and mental health care needs.

Provides affordable, low cost, high-quality psychotherapy services for individuals in our community. The Mental Health and Wellness Center offers a variety of treatment options and support for a wide range of mental health issues and concerns, including: Depression; Anxiety; Body Image/Eating Disorders; Trauma; Personal Growth and Development; Family Crisis; Gender and Sexual Identity; Grief and Loss; Mental Health and Wellness and Short-Term Solution Focused Psychotherapy.
