A "one-stop shop" system with access to City of Buffalo services, information, and non-emergency police services. Residents can dial 311 within city limits, 716-851-4890 outside the city, visit the website, or download the BUFF311 App to report service needs, check on the status of previous service requests, or obtain information regarding city programs. A report or request can be sent anonymously through the 311 applications, made via online requests or by calling the office. However, if you choose this option, you will not be able to track the progress online. For this follow-up information, you may contact the Call Center by phone. Offers a concurrent enrollment program that allows high school juniors and seniors to take the College's courses at their high school campus during their regular school hours, while simultaneously working toward high school graduation. College credits earned through the Beacon Program can be applied toward high school graduation and accepted at the College or transferred to a multitude of other colleges and universities. Enrollment in a course offered through the Beacon Program generates an official college academic transcript for each student. Acceptance of credit for college-level course work is under the domain of the receiving colleges and universities. The program is designed to provide curricular opportunity and enhancement of the college experience, but not its replacement. Therefore, students may enroll in no more than 30 college credits earned through the Beacon Program. Call for more detailed information.

Peer counseling services available to people with disabilities and recovery programs.

A network of over 85 housing counseling and legal services organizations across the state that provide free, qualified mortgage assistance relief services to homeowners. HOPP representatives can connect New Yorkers to high-quality counseling or legal services all over New York State. The HOPP Program is designed to ensure that no family in New York State ever loses their home because they do not have access to a lawyer or qualified housing counselor. Services include:

• Assistance with applying for a loan modification, or other types of loss mitigation
• Direct representation in court proceedings, including settlement conferences
• Homeownership counseling

Operates HomeownerHelpNY (https://homeownerhelpny.org/), an online service that provides New Yorkers with the tools and support to avoid foreclosure and/or scams, and to help them find qualified mortgage assistance relief services from the HOPP network. HomeownerHelpNY is a collaboration between the New York State Attorney General Office and the Center for NYC Neighborhoods, a non-profit committed to protecting and preserving affordable homeownership.

Bethpage Back to School Program accepts NEW donated school supplies from August 1 through August 31 which will be distributed to children in underserved communities. Preferred items include backpacks, lunch boxes, notebooks, pocket folders, pens, pencils, washable markers, crayons, glue/glue sticks, scissors, and rulers. Donations may be dropped off at Family Service League offices from 9am-5pm. This is a donation program only. Call for more information.

Offers residential and outpatient substance abuse and mental health treatment services. Certified by the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (NYSOASAS).

Provides short term inpatient rehabilitation care for individuals requiring continued care after a hospitalization. Specific programs include: Post stroke, Post hip and knee replacements, Post fractures, Post Amputation, Post cardiac surgery, Endurance and strengthening.

Provides supplementary financial assistance for treatment for leukemia, lymphomas, multiple myeloma, and specific myelodysplastic syndromes. Assistance covers costs for certain prescription drugs, certain x-rays, transportation, and blood services. Formal application required.

Offers closing cost assistance of up to $4,000 for first-time, income eligible home buyers purchasing a home in Cayuga, Cortland, Jefferson, Madison, Onondaga, or Oswego counties. For City of Syracuse home buyers, assistance is available as a deferred loan (no repayment provided residency requirements are met). Outside the City of Syracuse, assistance is in the form of a low-interest loan.
