SAIL provides information and assistance concerning long term care planning for individuals with disabilities, family members, and other interested parties. Information and assistance is provided for establishing Health Care Proxies, Living Wills, Supplemental Needs Trusts, and accessing long term care services. SAIL provides information and assistance to persons with disabilities, family members, and other interested parties concerning Medicare, Medicaid, and long-term care insurance. The center also provides insurance counseling and advisement for choosing the most appropriate coverage, as well as information concerning co-insurance and gap policies.

Maintains foster care placement and foster homes. Also recruits, trains, and certifies foster parents.

Provides Nurse-Family Partnership free maternal and child health services in Chemung County for first-time mothers. Clients receive health care guidance and education during pregnancy and after the birth of the baby until the child’s second birthday, to ensure healthy outcomes for both mother and child.

Handles legal matters including civil, criminal, small claims, and eviction cases within the Town of Annsville.

Provides English language instruction to individuals who were born outside of the United States.

The Department of Recreation provides activities, programs, and events to the residents of Beacon.

Provides Reference, Information and Referral, Reader's Advisory and programs which may include Teen Movie Night,3 D Printing Workshops arts and crafts, and book discussions.

Provides information and referrals helpline, around the clock, in English, Spanish and other languages, for pregnant women and new parents, who need information on health insurance, and on a variety of health topics. Also available is Text4baby, which sends free text messages each week, timed to the due date or babyâs date of birth, to help women through their pregnancy and the baby's first year. Provides small group homes, certified as Individual Residential Alternatives to persons with developmental disabilities, multiple physical handicaps, ambulatory and non-ambulatory, ages teen through adult. Homes located in Nassau, Suffolk, Queens Counties and New York City.

Makes decisions on school curriculum, decisions regarding discipline, school closures and other educational issues which affect the teachers and students. Parents/guardians wanting to gain information about these matters can call the administration office.

Provides basic food for pregnant and postpartum women, infants, and children up to age 5. Eligible participants receive a food benefit card to purchase nutritious foods such as milk, eggs, cheese, whole grains, fruits and vegetables, cereal, peanut butter, and baby formula. Also offers nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and community referrals.

Provides a lending library and lecture series for family members of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

A single location where customers can access the services provided by the Farm Service Agency, Natural Resources Conservation Service, and Conservation District. Farm Service Agency administers federal farm programs and farm loan programs.

Monitors new building conditions and construction and oversees the maintenance of older multi-family structures. Enforces the state and local building codes and housing standards and ordinances. Reviews applications for permits of new buildings, repairs, alterations, signs, and rooming houses. Accepts complaints from tenants about conditions the landlord fails to resolve.
