The Renewal Center is part of the Kirsten Vincent Respite & Recovery Center.

Provides services and information regarding pregnancy prevention and family planning issues.

Offers a wide range of licensing, records, and informational services to town residents. Licensing and permits include marriage licenses, hunting/fishing/trapping licenses, disabled parking permits, dog licenses, block party permits, peddler/solicitor licenses, and racing/wagering licenses. Other services include processing passport applications as well as maintaining town records and archives.

Health Care Home for children.

Provides immediate help, education, information, referrals, and assistance with linkage to addiction treatment services.

Delivers two, low-salt and low-sugar nutritious meals (a hot lunch and cold dinner), on weekdays (weekend meals delivered on Fridays with hot weekend meals delivered frozen, with holiday meals delivered prior to as well), to residents who are homebound due to illness, physical disability or advancing age and are unable to prepare adequate meals for themselves. Can order meal coverage for one to seven days each week as desired. If not home for delivery, leave a cooler with an ice pack outside your door (free-standing houses only) or arrange for a neighbor to accept your delivery.

Offers a peer-run, non-crisis service providing support, a friendly ear, assistance connecting to community resources, and an opportunity to connect with others and share experiences of hope and recovery.

Peers are individuals with lived experience. Peers are available in the community and integrated into existing services (ex: hospitals, outpatient clinics, etc.) to support individuals on their positive pathways to behavioral health and wellness. Our peers serve as educators, advocates, supporters, and connectors to other resources.

Offers subsidized rental apartments to low-moderate income households.

Provides a ten week support group for individuals who are experiencing a divorce or separation.

Police provide checks on New Castle resident Seniors and Persons with Special Needs during periods of severe weather or other natural or man-made emergencies.

Public library. Offers a Children's Reading Garden, meeting rooms, children's programming, Book Clubs in A Bag program, and 19 networked public access computers with Microsoft Office applications, internet access, and printing (B&W 10 cents per page, color 25 cents per page). Serves as a Cooling Center for individuals during times of excessive heat. Always call ahead to make sure a Cooling Center is open before going there.

Provides Information and Referral, Reference Services, Reader's Advisory and programs for children from birth through 6th grade. Programs and services include, but are not limited to Parent-Child Workshop, Homework Assistance, Computer Programs and Parenting Programs.

HIICAP educates the public about Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, EPIC , and other health insurance issues . Assists people with Medicare to access needed health care and apply for programs such as the Medicare Savings Program. Provides information or direction to individuals who may be having problems with their health insurance or simply are in need of a Medicare Part D prescription plan.

Provides dog (and/or wildlife in some cases) control services for the Town of Hadley.

Provides assistance to Medicaid eligible individuals with developmental disabilities and their families to access resources and services within the community, along with coordinating the necessary services, and to navigate the system to get benefits and other entitlements.

Faternal organizations of Catholic men who conduct charitable activities. Call or visit website for membership information and to locate other local councils. Meetings are the 1st and 3rd Wednesday each month at 8pm.

This program offers day and night rehabilitation services which include: support groups with discussions such as job readiness, relapse prevention, and former offenders; use of the twelve-step program; buprenorphine treatment as an alternative for heroin addiction and other opiate based drugs; and counseling services. In addition to rehabilitation services, FACTS also offers the following: Immunizations against diseases such as Hepatitis A and B, and information about how to protect oneself against other diseases such as Hepatitis C and HIV; and support groups.

Offers a Lifeguard Certification Program; certification in The American Red Cross Lifeguard Training, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, and First Aid Training.
