Dial-A-Ride is a bus service open to the public where people within the service area can call to arrange a ride. The bus provides a curb-to-curb service; meaning it can pick you up at the end of your driveway and take you to your destination. The bus picks up at approximately 9:30 am and brings you back at approximately 2:30 pm. The times have some flexibility and can be set when you call our dispatch office to make an appointment.

Bixhorn Technical Center, the Islip Career Center and Harry B. Ward Technical Center serve high school students who are 15.5 (15 years and 6 months) of age by September 1st until the age of 21. Special Career Education (SCE) creates opportunities for all students by providing them with the technical and academic skills needed to prepare for future employment and a successful path to college or other post-secondary programs. SCE provides technical training to prepare students for a successful career. The structured training gives students the tools needed to be successful in a job after high school and/or further post-secondary education. The Long Island Pine Barren Society is dedicated to environmental education and advocacy, focusing on protecting drinking water and preserving open space, especially in Long Island's Pine Barrens.
