NY Connects - Niagara County Office for the Aging
Offers information and assistance, education, and screening for older adults ages 60 and older, adults and children with disabilities, as well as family members, caregivers, and professionals. Assists clients in making informed choices regarding their long term care needs by offering information on which providers offer needed services nearest to them and helping clients contact these providers.
Also serves as the point of contact for the Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition Program, which provides low-income seniors with coupons that can be exchanged for eligible foods (fruits, vegetables, honey, and fresh-cut herbs) at farmers' markets, roadside stands, and community supported agriculture (CSA) programs.
