Offers courses where you will learn the basics of analytics including the basics of information description such as qualitative and quantitative data, conducting group comparisons, understanding probability distributions, how to create developing hypothesis tests, creating prediction models used in machine learning such as regression, and how to apply the techniques for business solutions. In the first part you will use Excel to understand how to describe data, and categorize different variables, as well as understand how data is distributed. In addition, you will learn about probability and its importance in conducting analysis. Finally, the course will show you how to generate appropriate sample sizes for testing. The second part uses excel to conduct confidence intervals for population parameters, understanding group comparisons such as the t-test. You will also use Excel to develop simple regression models, and multiple regression for predictions. Regression topics will include the inclusion of dummy variables for categorical variables, transformation of dependent variables, and assessing the prediction model. Sample course offerings include: Basics of Analytics - Understanding Data and Analysis and Statistical Concepts and Machine Learning Introduction. Courses vary each semester. Provides a variety of activities and programs for Hasting residents of all ages in a state-of-the-art facility. The television has access to the village's government station WHOH-TV and educational access programming, and a computer room with internet access. There are smaller rooms for several activities and a large room with a drop-down movie screen.

Single Point of Access for Children and Families (C-SPOA). C-SPOA aims to: Reduce risk for out of home placement/hospitalization, Develop strategies to assist children, youth and their families in their home communities using an individualized, strength-based assessment. Develop better decisions about individualized care planning for children at risk. Assist with linkage to appropriate services.

Dedicated to providing a lively and intellectually challenging array of non-credit courses taught year-round in a university setting by other OLLI members. The program currently offers social and cultural enrichment through thought-provoking workshops per semester and a variety of exciting day-trips. OLLI members come from all walks of life and career paths and is open to retired and semi-retired individuals aged 50 or older regardless of their level of education or career experience, who are interested in a diverse learning environment that fosters mutual sharing of ideas, life experiences and the love of learning. There are no tests, no grades and no pre-requisites to join. OLLI workshops cover every possible genre you can imagine and are led by current OLLI members who volunteer their time. New workshops are always being considered and many are inspired by members of OLLI. There are many avenues for participation in OLLI aside from taking workshops. We encourage members to join one of our many committees, teach a workshop or attend one of our special event trips or lecture series. There is a membership fee for this program. Provides a comprehensive early childhood developmental program for children ages 3-5 of low income families as well as family support services. Specific education, health and social services objectives focus on cognitive and intellectual development, physical and mental health, as well as the nutritional needs of the child. Provides a food pantry open to the public during school year months from September to June. Facilitates communication between nonprofit agencies providing disaster preparedness and relief services. Serves as liaison and communications hub between non-profits and emergency management officials from local, state and federal governments. Assembles Long Term Recover Groups post disaster to facilitate the provision of relief services to affected residents of Nassau and Suffolk Counties.

Services include: One Heating Benefit to help pay for heating a home; Heating Equipment Repair or Replacement Benefit; Clean and Tune Benefit and One Cooling Benefit per year to purchase and installation of an air conditioner or fan to help cool a home. Provides a variety of musical programs for the Montauk Community and its neighboring villages. Classical, jazz, american musical theatre, ethnic and american music are presented in five concerts from October to May at the Montauk Public School.
